Tomorrow is Earth Day

We love our earth. We believe in the earth’s ability to sustain us.

We also know we need to do our part and take better care of our dear earth.

I will make these commitments this year:

1. Learn about toxins – to use them minimally and to safely dispose of them

2. Learn and adopt regenerative farming practices:

-Cover cropping, rotational grazing and minimal tillae help draw down atmospheric carbon and restore degraded soil.

-Regeneratively grown crops have higher levels of phytochemicals, vitamins and minerals, resulting in more nutritious food

-According to Farmer’s Footprint, “healthy soil supports a more stable climate, better water retention and thriving microbial life- all of which contribute to the long term resilience of our food system” *

-I will support regenerative farmers and get involved: https://www.regenerativefarmersofameica.com
