The best of the best don't compete. They collaborate.

Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Eric Zuley for a conversation about The Book Crawl, authorship, visibility, and what it truly means to build something bigger than ourselves.

As we talked, I found myself reflecting on the evolution of being an author.

Writing a book is often seen as a solitary journey. It’s you, the page, and the courage to put your thoughts into words. But what happens after the book is written?

That’s where the real journey begins.

That is the heart behind The Book Crawl.

The Book Crawl was created to help authors move beyond simply publishing a book and into meaningful conversations. It is a platform where authors become thought leaders, where stories come alive, and where readers have the opportunity to connect with the person behind the pages.

During my conversation with Eric, we spoke about something I believe is shaping the future of authorship: collaboration.

The most impactful authors understand that success is not about standing alone. It’s about building relationships, sharing audiences, supporting one another, and creating opportunities together.

That is why I am so passionate about anthologies. The are the Best of the Best

Anthologies bring together diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives around a shared theme. They create opportunities for authors to be part of something larger than themselves while reaching readers they may never have reached on their own.

There is something powerful that happens when a group of authors comes together with a common purpose. Individual stories become collective impact.

In many ways, that is what The Book Crawl is all about.

Creating a place where authors can connect, collaborate, and amplify one another’s messages. It really is, “The Best of the Best”

A place where books become conversations.

Where conversations become relationships.

And where relationships become opportunities.

Thank you, Eric Zuley, for the opportunity to share the vision behind The Book Crawl and for championing the power of collaboration.

Because the future of authorship isn’t just about writing great books.

It’s about creating meaningful connections, building communities, and understanding that some of the greatest stories are written together.
