Last week, I got stung by a bee.

I kept asking myself how and why did that happen.

As I hiked this morning, a story emerged.

The bee wasn’t attacking me.

The bee was simply being a bee.

It buzzed close to my ear.

My nervous system interpreted that buzz as danger.

I flailed.

The bee, now frightened by my sudden movements, did what frightened creatures do.

It protected itself.

It stung.

And suddenly I wondered…

What if neither of us was actually acting from our true nature?

Resource yourself-be present to the NOW
Rejoice that you are alive in this body and can feel whatever is coming up right now
