About me
Entertainer, singer songwriter John Michael Ferrari (“JMF”) is a baby boomer
storyteller who transforms life experiences into emotional songs. JMF’s most
recent release “When Love Is Love” has been submitted for Grammy nomination
and he for Best New Artist. At 77, if nominated, Guinness Book of Records will
record JMF as the oldest artist to be nominated for Best New Artist.
“When Love Is Love,” like most of the scores of JMF’s other releases, is seasoned
with sophistication and a dash of playfulness. The black and white “When Love Is
Love” music video on YouTube, directed by Nyles Flagg, has been accepted to
several film short and music video competitions.
JMF is a multiple award-winning singer-songwriter, music arranger, and recording

North America - Gospel / Contemporary Christian for his song about Jesus

Male Vocalist of the Year - Bronze.
• June 2025: JMF was honored that The Josie Music Awards nominated him
for Songwriter of the Year. Awards show November 2, 2025
• April 2025: JMF’s reconciliation song “How Far Apart Are We?” named
“Best Indie Song - Summer 2025” by Clouzine International Awards.
• March 2025: JMF was named “Vocalist of the Year” by the North
American Country Music Association International, and his “I Keep Rollin’
On” received the “New Country Horizon Award” and his “Bring Me Home”
received the “New Gospel Horizon Award”.
• March 2025: The eZWay Golden Gala honored JMF with “The Harmonic
Spectrum Hero Award!” for “his ability to connect people through music.”
Actor Trea Ireland presented the award after Ferrari and Sophie Love sang
“Yes I Do” for the packed audience. (“Yes I Do” went to #1 on the IMN
Country and Mainstream Top 30 radio charts)

Home” moves up to #27 on the Cashbox Magazine Christian Country Top
100 Chart and, in February 2025, his country tune “I Keep Rollin’ On” is at
#64 on it’s Country Independent Top 100. Ferrari also charted on several
others including “Cross Country” and “Independent Music Network.
• February 2025: Ferrari’s pop dance song “Are You Ready for Love” topped
radio play charts in the U.S., United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and
Australia.
• February 2025: Ferrari on the cover of The Independent Music Show
Magazine.
• January 2025: Museboat Live Channel named Ferrari one of “The Most
Popular Artists on Museboat”.
• January 2025: Ferrari - featured artist - The Independent Music Show

2024 was also a whirlwind year for John Michael Ferrari, filled with remarkable
achievements that speak to his versatility and talent. A few awards from the end of
2024 include:
• December 2024: The Elite Music Awards crowned JMF “Crossover Artist
of the Year” for his 2024 album “I Keep Dreaming”.
• November 2024: The Olympia Arts Awards crowned JMF as the "Artist of
the Year".
• November 2024: Producers Choice Honors celebrated JMF’s catchy pop
love song “One Heck of a Girl” with the "Best Single of the Year" award.
• October 2024: Clouzine International Music Awards recognized JMF as the
"Best Male Americana Vocal" for his reflective baby boomer tune “I
Wouldn’t Lie”.
• September 2024: His heartfelt inspirational song “Soldiers Prayer”about a
dead teenage soldier who left behind his teen wife and unborn child, made it
to the Top Ten Finalists in the World Songwriting Competition for “Best
Folk Song”.

The accolades don't stop there. In August 2024 alone, Ferrari clinched the title of
"Best Male Album of the Year - Silver" at the International Singer Songwriter
Association Awards for his album “I Keep Dreaming”. His country track “I Keep
Rollin’ On,” about a traveling gambler who lost the only woman he ever love, was
declared “Best New Country Song of the Year” at the West Coast Country Music
Association Awards. The WCCMA also honored him as the Best Male Gospel
Songwriter of the Year and recognized his gospel piece about going to Heaven,
“Bring Me Home” as the Best New Gospel song 2024.
Other highlights of 2024 include Ferrari’s song “Workin’ My Way to Nashville,”
co-written with Pepper Jay and Ray Ligon, awarded “Best New Country Song”
and “Co-Writer of the Year” by the North American Country Music Association
International. And, his pop-folk hybrid “One Heck of a Girl” was celebrated by
Museboat Live Channel as one of the “Most Popular Pop & Folk Songs of the
Year”.
Sharing time between Nashville, Tennessee, and a ranch in Pahrump, Nevada,
JMF, alongside his music producer manager Pepper Jay, has crafted four country-
pop crossover albums and an inspirational gospel EP. “Soldiers Prayer” EP
includes “The Son Don’t Lie” about following the Word of God, the award-
winning track “Like a Rock n Roll Band,” which was honored as “Peace Song of
the Year” by the Art 4 Peace Awards, and JMF’s “Soldiers Prayer”.
JMF and Jay are currently brewing up more magic for their fifth album at the
renowned Beaird Music Group studio in Nashville, where they’ve recorded since
2019.
Ferrari’s influence extends beyond music. He has graced magazine covers
including New Music Weekly, Hollywood Weekly Nashville, eZWay Magazine,
and The Independent Music Show Magazine. As a mentor and author, he co-
authored "Dynamic Song Performance, The Singer's Bible" with Pepper Jay,
penned "Acting with Your Eyes”, and, with Pepper Jay, continues to coach vocals
and song performance. JMF is ASCAP and SAG-AFTRA.
