About me

TV Host of an upcoming show, "Adopted! The Truth About Family." With over 40 years of experience as an Adoptee Advocate, Educator, and Librarian, my mission is to promote the rights of adopted people worldwide, expand the concept of family to be more inclusive, raise awareness of adoption and foster care issues, and increase the accountability and transparency of the adoption industry. My birth mother shared information that transformed my life; learning the circumstances around my conception, birth, and relinquishment empowered and grounded me in profound ways. As an adoptee activist and consultant, my goals include adoptee access to original birth certificates, de-stigmatizing the adoption constellation, and changing the dominant narrative of adoption to be more adoptee-centered.
