There are moments in life where everything aligns—purpose, people, and platform. The Oscars Gifting Suite was one of those moments.
Surrounded by the energy of Hollywood, I had the honour of stepping into this space alongside the incredible women of Mission Accepted 262, led by visionary founder Deb Drummond. This wasn’t just about celebrity—it was about connection, collaboration, and the elevation of voices that are here to make an impact.
Together with my sisters of 262—Dr. Melissa Balizan, Carroll Patrizi, Liz Goll Lerner, and Cathy Holt—we stood not only as attendees, but as women in media, leadership, and storytelling. Four of us, including myself, are proud TV hosts on EZWay, using our platforms to bring meaningful conversations to life.
What made this experience truly unforgettable was the opportunity to step into our roles as interviewers—capturing stories in real time, on a stage where entertainment meets influence.
One of the highlights of the suite was interviewing the incredible Kate Linder. Known for her long-standing presence in television, Kate brought grace, warmth, and authenticity to the conversation. It was a reminder that behind every public figure is a story—one shaped by dedication, resilience, and passion.
This is what Mission Accepted Media represents. It’s not just about being seen—it’s about why you’re seen. It’s about creating platforms where women can stand in their voice, share their message, and be recognized not only for what they do, but for who they are.
From the gold carpets to the gifting suites, what stood out most wasn’t the glamour—it was the sisterhood. The shared vision. The knowing that we are part of something greater than ourselves.
As the Founder of The Book Crawl, my mission has always been to position authors and thought leaders in spaces where their voices matter. This experience was a powerful reflection of that mission in motion—where stories move beyond the page and into rooms where culture is shaped.
Because at the end of the day, whether on a stage, a screen, or a red carpet…
Every story is worth savouring.
