A Legacy Built Together: A Thank You to EzWay TV, The Women’s Channel, and the Community Behind The Book Crawl

There are moments in life when recognition feels less like a spotlight and more like a mirror — reflecting every yes, every risk, every quiet prayer whispered when no one was watching. As I prepare to receive this Legacy Award on March 15th, my heart is not focused on the stage… it is focused on the journey and the people who made it possible.

When walking into the Golden Gala as a VIP guest — my gratitude is simply being in the room. I know I always remember observing the energy, the visionaries, the media leaders, the entrepreneurs, the creators. Feeling honoured just to witness it all. I had no idea that one day I would show up not just as a guest, but as a Legacy Award recipient for The Book Crawl.

To EzWay TV — thank you for seeing the vision its doing more than airing a show; your amplifying a movement. The Book Crawl was created to position authors as thought leaders — to move them from bookshelf to broadcast — and EzWay gave that mission a global platform. Visibility is powerful, and your network understands that media can elevate substance, not just spectacle.

To Eric Zuley — thank you for being a connector of people and possibilities. The Golden Gala is more than an event. It is a room where influence expands and collaboration is born. Your leadership creates environments where dreams are not only celebrated but accelerated.

To The Women’s Channel and to Deb Drummond — thank you for holding space for women to lead boldly in media. Deb, your vision through Mission Accepted Media has created pathways for women’s voices to be amplified in powerful, strategic ways. You understand that visibility is not vanity — it is access. Access to impact. Access to influence. Access to legacy. The Book Crawl aligns so deeply with that mission because when women authors rise, when their expertise is televised, when their stories are honoured publicly, culture shifts.

To my authors — you are the heartbeat of this entire movement. The Book Crawl exists because you said yes. Yes to being seen. Yes to sharing your wisdom. Yes to stepping beyond the page and into the spotlight. You trusted me with your stories, and that trust is sacred. This award reflects your courage as much as it reflects the show.

To every supporter and every voter — thank you. Every share, every message, every word of encouragement, every quiet vote cast in belief of this vision matters. Legacy is not built in isolation. It is sustained by community. When you show up, you are declaring that books still matter, that authors deserve platforms, and that stories shape culture.

From attending as a VIP guest… to showing up as a Legacy Award recipient… this journey feels surreal. But what moves me most is that the mission has never changed. From writing Dear Ego, Dear Heart in quiet moments of faith, to signing books at Indigo, to walking red carpets, to broadcasting through The Women’s Channel under EzWay TV — the intention has always been the same: elevate authors, honour stories, and create conversations that matter.

The Book Crawl is no longer just a show. It is becoming a legacy. And if it is becoming a legacy, it is because of the network, the leaders, the authors, the supporters, and the voters who believed in it.

Dreams do come true. But when built with purpose, they become something greater — they become impact that outlives the moment.

Think. Ink. Drink.
Every story is worth savouring.

With deep gratitude,
